Professional Powder Coating Services Under Development

We have invested in and have received a powder coating system. The modules include water pre-treatment, grit blasting, and top of the line Gema brand electrostatic powder application equipment. The oven size is 12 feet wide, 12 feet high and 25 feet long. It is probable that we will extend the length to 30 feet in the very near future.

We plan to make a methodical transition from spray paint to powder coating for 95% of our trailers, but will always keep the ability to spray.

We intend to make powder coating services available to other companies with large volume needs.

Chris Dadds will be heading up the powder coating efforts. Chris has always run the paint department at the factory, and is looking forward to the challenge of learning the “ins and outs” of powder coating.

In the beginning, we plan to powder coat only components of our trailers while we learn. Examples are ramps, spare tire brackets, or any other add on components that are loose from the main frame of the trailer. Eventually, we will powder coat most if not all of the steel parts on trailers.
