Custom Steel Fabrication
Our custom steel fabrication division offers
many services to customers that have nothing to do with trailers. Our inventory
of steel plus our shop equipment and employee talent can create magic - only
limited by your imagination. Here's some examples of fabrication jobs we've
completed in the past at our Maryland fabrication facility.

In our custom
steel fabrication department, we make many parts using
a robotic Plasma Cutting Table. The piece is drawn on a computer screen,
downloaded to a special table, and then machine cut from a sheet of
steel. Posibilities are endless, especially when the shapes can be
bent and punched. |

This 90 degree spiral stair section was custom
fabricated in loose pieces that bolted together on the site. Our job
was to make the pieces and punch slotted holes that allowed the customer
flexibility in adjusting the stair treads to the field conditions. |

Our custom steel fabrication division designed and
manufactured this frame system consists of 44 foot long trusses
and vertical support columns that hold them up. The trusses are made
of 8 inch wide flange beam and the support columns are made of 5"
square tubing measuring 17 feet high. We made all the needed anchor
bolt plates and attachment plates. All components were painted using
a red oxide primer at our facility. When they arrived on the job,
they were merely bolted together as a kit. |
